Jeremiah 6:7-9

^7 (A)As a well ^[a]keeps its waters fresh,
So she ^[b]keeps fresh her wickedness.
^(B)Violence and destruction are heard in her;
^(C)Sickness and wounds are constantly before Me.
^8 (D)Be warned, Jerusalem,
Or ^[c](E)I shall be alienated from you,
And make you a desolation,
An uninhabited land.”
